Give Thanks!!

I am so thankful for so many things today!  Lucas and I had a wonderful time with his family up in North Alabama, and I had such a great time meeting the ones that I hadn't met!  The food was wonderful, and I am already feeling the pounds pack on ha!

I have new yarn!!  I will be crocheting new items this week and next, so be on the lookout!!  I am thankful for such a rewarding and fun hobby, and that I have the time to create and the passion to do so. 

I will be going on a cruise in a few weeks, and I am so excited!  This is my first cruise, and it will be even more wonderful because it will be with my family.  I will get to spend an entire week with my parents, brother and sister, so it will be a huge mish-mash of Alabama, Brooklyn, Colorado, and Indonesia!  I'm so happy to be around them, as I don't get to see them often.

I'll be updating new work as quickly as I can, but work will be busy the next few weeks, so it may take longer than I think.

A Sampling of Vintage

I've always loved searching for those items that look just a little off on the hanger, but can be made to look amazing on the right person!  I've collected items for over a decade now, and am trying to find a way to pass some of them on to new homes and owners who will appreciate them at least as much as I have, if not more!

Hello and Welcome!

I am creating this blog to post new items, both hand-made and vintage!  I collect and sell vintage clothing, hats, and jewelry, but my main purpose is to find a new home for these items where they will be loved and appreciated, so I don't mark them up much from what I buy them for.

I also crochet!  I have never used a pattern, but make all kinds of things!  I make hoods, scarves, cowls, all manner of hats, gloves.... Basically anything that comes to my head, I can create!  I do custom items as well, so let me know if there is something in particular that you want; I can figure out how to make just about anything from a photo or description.

All the jewelry I make is unique!  I use stones, glass beads, linen threading, and all kinds of natural materials.  Most of the items I make are for specific uses, like protection, bliss, spirituality and other things you may need help with in your life.  I will be posting new items as I make them, so hopefully I will be updating often!!

Painting is one of my passions, so I will be posting new paintings, which will be for sale unless otherwise noted.  If the painting is not for sale, then I can always create a custom piece for you that is similar!
